Welcome to the Heart of Agnes Water.

The Agnes Water–1770 region is surrounded by the Deep Water National Park, the Eurimbula National Park and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, blessed with pristine beaches (where you’ll often encounter nobody else) and home to the east coast’s northernmost point break. Welcome to paradise. Thank goodness we are just a little too far off the Highway to have ever become a tourist mecca, being just a little off the beaten track makes us one of the last remaining small seaside communities on the east coast… and that’s how we like it. Here you’ll find fellow travelers and adventurers rather than tourists.

Our modestly sized reef boats offer easy access to Lady Musgrave Island and the Southern Great Barrier Reef, one of the most pristine parts of the Great Barrier Reef. Just like Agnes and 1770, it’s a little too far off the beaten track to attract bus, train or plane loads of tourists.

For those who love water sports, the warm waters of Agnes are perfect for swimming, surfing, diving and snorkeling all year round. For naturalists, there’s a dugong colony, sea turtles nest and hatch here annually, migrating humpback whales cruise by and the bird watching is spectacular. If you’re into fishing, you can choose between fishing off the beach, in the estuaries, on the reef or perhaps a bit of deep sea fishing is more your speed? Those who love to 4WD come here for our National parks and if you’d prefer to walk then there are hundreds deserted trails for you to wander.

GETTING HERE:
As you enter Agnes Water township (there is only 1 road in), go straight ahead past the service station and then take the second left into Agnes Street. We are first apartment block on the left.

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday 8:30am to 4:00pm
If you are going to arrive outside of reception hours, please contact us before reception closes on the day of your arrival so that we can make arrangements with you.
